[English]

Background and Objectives: This qualitative research adopted a descriptive phenomenological approach. Using purposive sampling and continuing until theoretical saturation, the study selected 21 female students with gender dysphoria, aged 17–18, from specialized clinics active in the field of gender issues. Data were collected over six months through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using Colaizzi's seven-step phenomenological method. Methods: This qualitative research adopted a descriptive phenomenological approach. Findings: The analysis of the data revealed five main themes and 12 sub-themes. The main themes are: First, the gender knowledge gap among teachers; Second, lack of skill in managing identity conflicts; Third, schools' gender-biased policies; Fourth, the absence of institutional support; and Fifth, students' adaptive strategies. Conclusion: The results demonstrate that the psychological and academic injuries experienced by students with gender dysphoria are intensified due to the inability of teachers' professional competency models and the inflexible structures of schools. The findings confirm the necessity of redefining teacher competencies, revising supportive guidelines in schools, and reforming teacher training institutions.
