[English]

Background and Objectives: In recent years, entrepreneurship has gained increasing attention as an effective strategy for improving employment and reducing unemployment across various societies. In Iran, numerous entrepreneurial education events have been organized with the aim of fostering hope for future careers and cultivating positive attitudes among students toward establishing businesses in their specialized fields. These initiatives typically include training courses, workshops, entrepreneurial camps, startup events, and consulting programs, primarily focused on enhancing entrepreneurial skills, personal empowerment, and motivating students to enter the business world. However, most of these programs have been specifically implemented in technical and engineering fields, with less attention paid to the needs and capabilities of humanities students. This is particularly significant as training creative and entrepreneurial teacher-students in humanities can play a key role in promoting an entrepreneurial culture and improving employment quality in the country's educational landscape. The existing gap in training and guiding teacher-students to promote entrepreneurship in humanities underscores the necessity for research in this area. This article aims to investigate the impact of entrepreneurship education on enhancing hope and improving career attitudes among teacher-students at Farhangian University. Methods: To achieve this objective, a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test control groups was employed. The statistical population consisted of humanities teacher-students from Farhangian University who were studying as guest students at Allameh Tabataba'i University but were unemployed. Using convenience sampling, 30 teacher-students were selected and randomly assigned to either an intervention group (20 participants) or a control group (10 participants). The intervention group participated in an entrepreneurship training program covering topics such as business skills, creativity, entrepreneurial thinking, and career guidance. Both groups completed standardized hope and positive attitude questionnaires before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using analysis of covariance. Findings: The results indicated that participation in the entrepreneurship training program increased occupational hope and improved positive attitudes toward future careers in the intervention group. In other words, compared to the control group, teacher-students who participated in the program demonstrated more positive attitudes and greater hope regarding their career prospects and the practical implementation of their ideas through business creation. Conclusion: Based on these findings, it is recommended that policymakers in the science and technology sector support entrepreneurship education programs in humanities to enhance entrepreneurial capabilities among teacher-students. Supporting the development of entrepreneurial skills can play a significant role in increasing the employability of humanities graduates.
